Dr. Fancher, lecturer at UCSB, is “desiginging a feminist digital humanities project that studies the writing of women physicicans in the Woman’s Medical Journal (WMJ) from 1900-1919 and the social circulation of their evolving ethos. I helped her with taking the information she collected and creating a data visualization.
The following images show my visualizations of her data placed on a world map using the Google Maps API and JavaScript.
